Blog Assignment Five: Artistic Intent

As we have interpreted "poetry" or "lyrics" this week, I am asking you to create a poem. It doesn't matter what you think poetry means, it can be short or long, or complex or simple, and beatitful or ugly, and some of these elements, but none of the others. You can use rhythmn and rhyme, you can employ meter or a beat, you can use imagery or be precisely explainatory. Write what you wish, and create something, anything that is meaningful to you....This is creative, this is fun, and if that makes you uncomfortable, know, from me, if you chose to believe what I have to say, all authors have fear, trepidtion, reservation, and doubts with most, or all, that they create. Thus, this is more a lesson in authorship and creation, in doing something "new", than anything else.

Enjoy, or hate, or somewhere in between, write as you, as only you envision it.

All the best,
tra
